Dave Telep just had an update and it's not good. Raymar just visited MSU and they clearly lead. Michigan is second with no mention of OSU.

Raymar Morgan, Scout.com’s No. 28 prospect in America, is a man of few words. So, when he says he’s got a leader, take note.

As casey buckeye said previously.....Michigan State is the leader with Michigan second. Morgan took an unofficial visit to Michigan State on Monday.
(Buckeye fans should relax, this one will be close, I think the Buckeyes are still in the mix for now, the key is the official visit. MSU and Scum have been showing him the love for awhile now, its not a real suprise he finally came out and said they lead. Have faith in Matta.)

My friend, who attends Canton McKinley and plays football for them, told me a few days ago that Raymar plans on playing WR for them this upcoming season. He also hinted to me that Raymar has been taking a closer look at tOSU recently. I agree that we should keep our heads up here. We appear to be a darkhorse.

From BSB...Raymar is considering visiting the weekend of the Texas game. He made an unofficial to MSU earlier this week. Although he would not concede it to BSB, it appears as though OSU has fallen behind to MSU and Michigan. Lighty is working on Raymar as well. Tommy Amaker has also invited Raymar to the Michigan/ND game on the 10th.
With all due respect to my colleague bucknuts44820, I agree that we just need to sit back and see what happens, but at this point I will be very surprised if Raymar signs with OSU. It is going to take one heck of an official visit with Oden, Cook, Conley and Lighty on the 10th to beat out Izzo and the Spartans.

Hmm, interesting that OSU might "strike out" on getting that 5th player(+Chichester) or that PF.
Now it wouldn't be a bad strike out. It would be nice to get that final player to the class, but it isn't really a need. Though I think it is important to find another player that may stay until their Jr./Sr. year. I thought Morgan could be that guy.
Just interesting that we go from being in on Young, to Macklin, Tucker, Morgan and now to me, it looks like we won't get any of them.
Can't blame Morgan either. Michigan State (where I see him choosing) is very good bball school and Izzo is a hell of a coach. Plus they've been with him the whole time. While tOSU did seem to be hesitant at times (waiting on others, makes it like he was our 3rd option).
I'd really love for Raymar to come in and finish this class. Still time left in this recruiting process. I hope he comes in on the 10th and takes in the official visit to tOSU.
