Gurley Flying Under Radar
By Jeff Goodman National Recruiting Analyst
Date: Mar 28, 2005
Anthony Gurley has done a good job flying under the radar - and it's likely that won't change anytime soon. Not with his schedule over the next six weeks.
|
Gurley, who put up 33.5 points per game this past weekend in a local tournament and helped lead his Newton North team to its first-ever state title. Gurley is a 6-2 ½ shooting guard who can score in a variety of ways.
Wake Forest, Miami, Providence, Georgia, Boston College, N.C. State, Marquette are currently the teams interested. Anthony is listing OSU (Med Interest).

Leo Papile’s squad may lack a legitimate big man, but he’ll find a way to get it done – and it’ll be with strong guard play. Iowa State-bound Farnold Degand is much improved and Anthony Gurley is for real.

Boo Williams: Day Two Checklist
By Dave Telep National Recruiting Director
Date: Apr 10, 2005
HAMPTON, Va. – What a day at the Boo Williams! Guys were putting in work and making things happen and while Kevin Durant was at it again, Sherron Collins was busy skyrocketing up the 2006 point guard list.
|
Gurley is putting on a tremendous performance at the event and his stock is on the rise.

Syracuse, Wake Forest, Miami, Georgia, NC State, and Boston College are the schools that have been recruiting him. He has no scholarship offers to date, and he is still wide open in terms of his recruitment.
No mention of Ohio State.....
