4/8/05 Luke's top five are Ohio State, Northwestern, Notre Dame, Indiana and Purdue, he does not have a leader at this time. He will be visiting these schools during the summer. He wants to go somewhere where he is comfortable and can come in and help the team. Luke is a very physical player who is a excellent rebounder. (Luke stated only Notre Dame has not offered, but I am not listing an offer from OSU until I see something official.) |

4/11/05 At the Boo Williams Event.....Luke was a bull inside, showing why most of the Big Ten is interested in him. The rumor is that Indiana has recently offered a scholie. We need to make a push for Luke, he is exactly what we need in the program. |

Sources say that Ohio State and Purdue are his top two teams at this point.

We need more of the traditional Power forward guys. Luke would be a great fit at that position for us. With Oden a possibility and Twig and Bell on board Luke could definitely fill that last power position.

Harangody is very underrated in my opinion..... |

The biggest weakness with this years team is not so much that we played Dials as the only big man, but that we had nobody off the bench to back him up. Which is not to say that this particular kid couldn't play for Matta. Certainly we need more players who can hit the boards, but I would not describe the prototype forward under Matta as 'traditional' (i.e. sacrificing speed and range for bulk). JMHO By the way - you guys who have been keeping the BBall board hopping rock! BP is now far and away the best site for OSU BBall news. Last edited by Oh8ch; 04-23-2005 at 08:25 AM. |

If Oden is only here for a year or 2 though, Luke could be a Center for us. I have a feeling that Thaddeus Young is coming in as the "big" forward and Matta wants Cook and Lighty on the wings. Luke could fill in quite nicely if Oden decides to go pro.

RIVALS.COM$ Saturday at the Kingwood Classic in Houston, Luke says he's holding offers from Northwestern, Ohio State, Purdue and Indiana. He said Notre Dame is getting into the mix, too. |

4/25/05 From RivalsHoops.com...Harangody played extremely well for almost the entire tourney, only tiring during the 2nd half of the final game. He physically dominated the competition in the quarters and semis, going for 20+ and 10+ in both games. He is a solid post prospect with offers from Indiana, Purdue, Northwestern and Ohio State, and ND also pursuing. |

I have been on the Harangody bandwagon for awhile. The rumor is that Notre Dame is close to offering.

Lamb on BN......
Looks like a battle between OSU and Purdue with Notre Dame making a late push. (a factor could be if we land Oden) |

I really believe Harangody is an impressive player, and would add great depth, especially if we got Oden for a year or two. but if we are able to land Oden, Cook, Conley, and Lighty, I would really like to see Raymar Morgan with that group, especially with Dallas Lauderdale waiting in the wings.
