I remember that game as I watched on TV and it was just an amazing back and forth game. Bobby Knight almost stole the game for IU when
OSU had to inbound the ball with seconds to play and
OSU in the lead. Knight calls a defensive play where during the inbounds play he correctly assessed
OSU's in bounds play. He placed his players in such a position where correctly predicted the
OSU players movement (in the attempt to get open) to receive the inbounds pass. The
OSU player runs over the IU player and a player control foul could have been called (glad it wasn't) and IU would have had a chance to steal victory from the mouth of defeat. Love him or loathe him Knight is one of the finest tacticians the game has every known......
