'06 OH WR Josh Chichester (Louisville Verbal)
Josh Chichester
Wide Receiver
West Chester Lakota West
Height: 6-foot-8
Weight: 205 pounds
2004 stats: 27 rec, 603 yds
Scout Profile
As a skinnny 6'8", Josh might be better suited to basketball; in fact, he is a member of the "Rivals Top 150" list of b-ball prospects. However, football could be in his future, especially if he adds some weight.

josh is a great athlete. probably will play basketball b/c of his height, but he could be a big time football player if he wanted to. he's tall, has great athletic ability and good hands; he probably caught 3/4 of the passes in west's run-oriented offense.
but he's tearing it up in basketball and will get big time looks there; he's already hearing from uc, osu, wake forest and xavier to name a few. i'd bet he never steps foot on a college football field.

He is probably a bit closer to 6'7" at the moment and still growing probably could reach 6'9" or 6'10" if that happens then he has outgrown the football field and will stick to being a 4 man on the basketball court.

I'll be as nice as I can...
The kid can jump and has very nice hands. looked like he had a lot of trouble getting off the line of scrimage against Colerain's press coverage. Pretty raw but has a freakish stride and is not afraid to hit or be hit....just my opinion.

I can see him as a raw WR right now, but I also see alot of potential. That's why I am asking for everyone's opinions.

I read somewhere he's interested in possibly playing both sports, sounds like a nice fit for tOSU...

When is the last time OSU had a player who played two sports? Not counting the football players who run track.

I believe Nate Salley was on the basketball and football teams in 2002-2003. Prior to him I can only think of Ricky Dudley who played both sports and really excelled at both.
