I would take him right at 200 lbs. Whatever school Marcus chooses, they will easily add 15 pounds on him within the first few months, and probably another 15-20 pounds before he leaves. For a good example of what a college strength and conditioning program can do for a LB, see: Carpenter, Bobby.

<TABLE cellSpacing=3 cellPadding=3><TBODY><TR><TD colSpan=3> 11. MARCUS BALL</TD></TR><TR><TD vAlign=top> </TD><TD class=summary vAlign=top>While not as big as a prototypical outside linebacker, Ball more than makes up for it with his athleticism. The top overall prospect in Georgia is an excellent outside pass rusher from his position and is strong enough to reach out and make tough, one-handed tackles. Has Auburn, Florida, Georgia, Georgia Tech, Florida State, Oklahoma, Ohio State and LSU on his early list. Jeremy Patterson says: "A physical freak who is aggressive and a punishing hitter. Could be an amazing safety but is too good at linebacker to move him." [ Ball Video]</TD></TR></TBODY></TABLE>
Looks like a great prospect that would be great in scarlet and gray, unfortunatly I think he is a longshot at best to come up here... I see him going somehwere in Florida or to GT w/ his brother. BTW, I absolutely love the bold part.

He is being recruited by OU as a linebacker/strong safety. He has a total of 15 offers and is wide open right now. Ball says he likes Oklahoma, Texas, Ohio State, N.C. State, Miami (FL), Florida State and Florida.

From the Florida site...........Marcus says Florida is recruiting him the hardest, followed by Ole Miss and Ohio State. He says he has no leader but has interest in Florida, Florida State and Miami, LSU, Ohio State, Tennessee and USC. He adds that you can add Georgia Tech last.
