That seems to be the only minor problem with getting early commits from high ranked backs- it seems to scare other good backs away (although I personaly feel a great back would love the competition.)
Man, I hope Beanie stays on board...

Lemming is really talking Aldridge up. Has him listed as a 5 star Recruit. I haven't seen Lemmings list of top prospects but this doesn't suprise me. I don't understand what his ND / Iowa bias is all about but you can see it in his articles. I try not to get caught up in the ratings but sometimes recruits are swayed by the attention that programs are getting and that affects my bucks. I would bet my season ticket that Aldridge would not have been 5* if he chose either of the OSU's and I have a feeling that Wells will be a 4*.
http://www.southbendtribune.com/stor...1-Aldridge.sto "Aldridge is listed as a five-star player by recruiting analyst Tom Lemming, and is the second Notre Dame recruit to receive Lemming's highest ranking, the other being Mechanicsburg (Pa.) High School quarterback Zach Frazer." "Getting James Aldridge is one of Notre Dame's two biggest running back catches in the last 15 years, the other being Julius Jones," said Lemming, referring to the former Irish standout and current member of the Dallas Cowboys." |

Free Rivals
6/15/05 From Rivals.com...James is rated the #1 player in Indiana. I hate to admit it but Coach Weis (as well as the Zooker) is off to a heck of a start this year... |
