'06 TX OL Chris Stewart (Notre Dame signee)

Chris Stewart
Klein (TX)
Height: 6'5"
Weight: 315
Video: Here
40: NA
List: LSU, Michigan, ND, Ohio St, Oklahoma, Texas, Texas A&M, Texas Tech
Audibles: "Everyone that comes through here is very impressed with him. He still plays basketball, which makes him very flexible and agile at that size. His brother is 6-10, 390-pounds and starts at center for Texas Southern University’s basketball team, so Chris still has room to grow." -Klein coach Stan Labay

Rivals Premium
2/14/05
From the main Rivals site...Chris is 6-5 300 lbs. His mother was on the '76 USA Olympic women's basketball team and is in the Ole Miss athletics hall of fame. His brother is 7 foot and played basketball for Texas Southern. His sister Crystal has set school records at Ole Miss for the hammer thrown and discus. And his other sister is due to finish college pre-med in only three years. He has a 4.9 GPA (?) and is interested in Texas, Texas A&M, Michigan, Ohio State, Oklahoma, LSU, and Notre Dame. He grew up an ND fan.

4.9 on a 5 point scale would be my guess.

You can get a 4.9 if you take ALL Advanced Placement courses and get A's in the majority of them. Although doable, I have never see it done before. I have never heard of a regular 5 point scale though w/o AP courses. Either way though, 4.9 or 3.9, this kid is a very good student.

Found and added a short but very impressive highlight film of Stewart. I do not know what he projects out to be, but he seems to have a great motor. I really enjoyed the first block, and the next to last on the big boy #55. Nasty...
