Pittsburgh Live
12/18 Woodland Hills wide receiver Wes Lyons told Ohio State coaches he didn't want to compete with his brother, Devon, for playing time. The Buckeyes solved that problem by moving Devon to free safety. Wes Lyons has visited Ohio State, Boston College and West Virginia, and might take trips to Miami and Louisville next month. |

Could be the main reason Wallace is getting looks as a WR?

That being said, I'm not sure that Devon and the staff would contemplate a position change for the sole purpose of making his brother more amenable to Ohio State. I'm not even sure that it would be a factor in any such decision. |

Interesting news to say the least. Not sure if this move will have any affect on Wesley's decision.

Devon would put alot of fear into receiver's playing safety. It may be a good career move.

Well, if the reported move to FS for Devon is true, then we all need to start sipping...

Devon is listed as 6'4", 214 pounds. If he were to gain 10-15 pounds, he'd be very similar to Sean Taylor (6'3", 225) in size.

I would think that this would definitely help bring Wesley on board... |
