'06 PA WR Wesley Lyons (West Virginia signee)
![]() Wesley Lyons Wide Receiver Pittsburgh Woodland Hills Height: 6-foot-6 Weight: 185 pounds 40-yard dash: 4.65 seconds Bench max: 220 pounds Squat max: 295 pounds GPA: 3.2 Bill Kurelic on Wesley Lyons Yes, this is Devon's little brother; however, at 6'6", 185, maybe I should say that he is Devon's younger brother. Wesley will be a junior at Woodland Hills this fall; last season, he caught six passes. Wesley likes Ohio State, amongst others. Last edited by Highstreet; 02-07-2005 at 01:37 AM. |

Wesley is in the 2006 Rivals data base, so that info is free: I linked and printed it above.
His speed is 4.65 forty - not Nike-timed. |

6'6" is Plaxico Burress size, and he can definitely be effective like Buress (I still remember MSU tossing up those jump balls in '98 to Burress and him consistently outjumping Winfield/Plummer). However, he's only going to be a junior this year, so saying that he might grow to 6'8" isn't a stretch, and there really aren't that many guys 6'8" who're playing WR.

LJB: Saw that after I made my post. Thanks. By the way, great find, as always.

Hopefully his older brother is already recruiting him for the Buckeye Nation! IMO, we need a tall, rangy WR. Here's hoping....

Could be a good TE
If he's not done growing yet he could turn into a monter tight end. 6'8" with 4.65 speed would be a huge target. Hopefully he likes cuz better then his big bro!

Well Devon Lyons is Ryan Mundy's cousin
So that would mean that the upcoming Lyons is also cousins with Ryan Mundy.
