The first annual Blue Chip Combine will be held at Rutgers University on Monday, May 2nd and is already the buzz of the Atlantic East region. With Rivals100 players like Jeremy Ricker, LeSean McCoy, Jason Kates, J.B. Walton and Andrey Baskin already confirmed to attend, college coaches are already making their travel plans.

Players will best tested in the 40-yard dash, shuttle, vertical leap and bench press before going through drills and finally participating in one-on-one sessions.

Ricker, from Harrisburg (Pa.) Bishop McDevitt, already boasts 20+ offers and is one of the featured attendees along with his teammates McCoy and Kates. Walton, out of Lackey, Md. and arguably the nation's top guard will also be on hand as will Baskin (Camden, N.J.), compared by some to former New Jersey standout and current Southern Cal star Dwayne Jarrett.

In addition to those five, defensive tackle Oren Wilson (Teaneck, N.J.), quarterback Pat Devlin (Exton, Pa.), defensive back/athlete Antwine Perez (Camden, N.J.) and offensive/defensive tackle Jared Odrick (Lebanon, Pa.) are among others who have confirmed their attendance.

Invitations to the event have just recently been sent, so the talent will swell with potential appearances from quarterback Zach Frazer (Mechanicsburg, Pa.), offensive lineman Antonio Logan-El (Forestville, Md.), running back Knowshon Moreno (Middletown South, N.J.) and possibly the nation's No. 1 player, wide receiver Percy Harvin (Virginia Beach, Va.).

<!---------------Start Image--><script **********"**********">document.write(insertImage('/IMAGES/PROSPECT/PHOTO/ANDREYBASKIN06150.JPG', '', 0, 220, 150, 1, 'Andre Baskin could be the next great wide receiver from New Jersey.', 'Rivals.com', 1109714960000, '', 880, 'Align=Right'));</script><table align="right" border="0" cellpadding="0" cellspacing="0" width="158"><tbody><tr><td rowspan="4" width="6"></td><td width="152"></td></tr><tr><td align="right">Rivals.com</td></tr><tr><td height="3"></td></tr><tr><td align="center">Andre Baskin could be the next great wide receiver from New Jersey.</td></tr></tbody></table><!-- End Image------------------>The talent won't be limited to just the class of 2006 as well. 2007 stud quarterback Pat Bostick (Lancaster, Pa.) will be throwing and running back Wayne Drummond (Ramsey, N.J.) and wide receiver Arrelious Benn (Washington, DC), an early contender for the nation's No. 1 player next year, will also be on hand.

Colleges who have confirmed attendance include Notre Dame, Ohio State, Tennessee, Penn State, Nebraska, Miami, Virginia, UConn, Boston College, Virginia Tech, Georgia Tech, Southern Cal, Stanford, Duke, Louisville, Wisconsin and others. Head coaches from some of the above schools will be making the trip specifically.

Rivals.com will have exclusive internet coverage rights to the event.
