From BSB...Meenan has had visits from coaches from Ohio State (Bollman), Notre Dame, Purdue, Georgia Tech, West Virginia, Boston College and Bowling Green. Meenan has Purdue, Penn State and Ohio State as his top schools. He plans to camp at all three. Chris has two uncles that played for Woody Hayes during the 60s.

One of the prospects passing through Purdue's camps this summer most eager to earn a Boilermaker offer might be Wooster, Ohio, offensive lineman Chris Meenan.

"They're definitely one of my leaders," Meenan said. "Everything's kind of evened out, but I do have a lot of interest in Purdue, and that does have a lot to do with my brother (going there)."
Meenan is massive. He was recorded at Purdue as 6-foot-6.5, 315 pounds, he said. He was pleased with how he performed.
"I ran a little slow," said Meenan, who's been recorded elsewhere at just under 5.4, "but they said it'd be slow because of the field. But I thought I surprised them with my ability to move laterally and in the drills I did with Coach (Bill) Legg."
Toledo has offered Meenan. He's also camped this summer at Miami (Ohio) and Indiana. A trip to Boston College fell through, but camp stops at Ohio State and Notre Dame lie ahead.
As for Purdue, Meenan will await word.
"They said they'll keep recruiting me," Meenan said, "and at the end of two weeks, they'll decide of who they might want to offer."
