If Duquesne star Elijah Fields continues dominating games the way he did with 233 all-purpose yards and two punt returns for touchdowns against Clairton Saturday, he could have his choice of colleges.
The 6-foot-2, 210-pound senior receiver-safety said Pitt, <?xml:namespace prefix = st1 ns = "urn:schemas-microsoft-com:office:smarttags" />Penn State, West Virginia and OhioState are his early leaders. OhioState is close to offering and when they do he is likely to accept.
It should be noted that, after the Dukes' 34-22 victory over Clairton, Fields left with McKeesport linebacker Anthony Leonard, a West Virginia recruit.

Elijah names West Virginia, Ohio State, Penn State, and Pitt as his top four. All of the schools are recruiting him as a safety. Coach Daniels said tOSU is going to offer.

i'm wondering what an offer for Fields would do to Schwartz's chances for an offer...

Boy I hope so. I just don't see how you pass up on Schwartz to take Fields. Maybe they are recruiting Fields as a WR?

I expect fields to stay instate
He's a solid athlete. If OSU can grab this kid he'll provide a nice body for special teams and may become a starter later in his career.
