From the ND site...in 2004, Griffin had eight touchdowns of 40 or more yards called back due to penalty. Also, he was rated the best running back at the 2004 Columbus Nike combine. He was honorable mention all-state and first team Ohio Capital Conference. He says he ran a 4.37 at the OSU camp last year.

Not gonna be an OSU recruit because of his size (most likely), but should note that he's not gonna put up HUGE numbers in HS because of the offense in which he plays. Pentello is going to be a Junior at QB this year for South. Threw for over 3,000 yards as a Soph. Will be interesting to see who recruits Griffin when he can't really showcase his talents because of the offense.

The fact that Pentello's father is the coach certainly won't hurt Rocco...Elijah is probably going to get a look from some B10 schools if he can add some weight. But as you said, unless he has a great camp, he probably won't be an OSU recruit.

Elijah is receiving attention from a number of schools and is wide open at this point. He has already visited Kent State, Notre Dame, and Tennessee. During the spring he plans to make rounds to Indiana, Illinois, Notre Dame, Tennessee, Wisconsin, and Syracuse. Of course he will attend tOSU's spring game and summer camp.
