Last fall Rigan helped St. Francis to an 8-2 record. The season did not end as planned, as St Francis was upset in the playoffs. Rigan was selected to the All-Conference and All-Area teams for his performance. In addition to football, Rigan is a fine basketball player.

At the Elite 11 event held in Michigan this weekend, Rigan attended the camp as a pass catcher and according to their opinion should get MAC attention.

<TABLE cellSpacing=0 cellPadding=0 width="100%" border=0><TBODY><TR><TD vAlign=top>The Northern part of Michigan has not been a hot-bed for football talent the past few years. That is somewhat surprising considering they do play some good football in the Traverse City area. This year things could be different with a few players getting serious Big Ten looks, including Patrick Rigan of St Francis High School. Check out the video of him in action. Michigan State, Notre Dame, Missouri, Central Michigan, Michigan, Purdue and Northwestern are his top schools at this point. Michigan and Purdue have visited his school the past week.

with an offer already out to Nate Byham, as well as other guys like Brandon Warren and Micah Johnson who could be TEs, plus interest in guys like Cumberland and Reuland, I am not that surprised that our interest in Rigan has apparently waned...

Rigan is considered the #7 player in the state of Michigan. Rigan projects as a defensive end, tight end, or tackle at the next level.
