This is good news in the Ashley recruitment. Walker has said that Coach O was a big reason why he liked USC. Let's hope it happens.

If I am not mistaken Orgeron won the award for the asst. coach of the year last year, as awrded by whoever gives out those kinds of awards...
Unless it was The Sporting "Brian Urlacher is the most overrated player in the NFL" News...

Walker has shut down recruiting activities for the holidays. Walker will visit PSU on Jan. 14th and he has rescheduled OU for Jan. 21st.
He still says tOSU leads but he can't point to one reason. It sounds like a combination of alot of things like the coaches, other recruits, city, fan's etc.

That's a great situation...if it were a single factor that had him gravitating to OSU and that factor changed, then we could lose him. With it not being any one thing specifically, somethings could change and he'd still favor us.

Hopefully Oklahoma has a full class or something by then b/c I really don't like them being then b/c if they win the national championship Stoops can throw that in his face. That kind of scares me.

OU has 6 DL commits in this class already. They are also in on a few other big names.
if location plays any factor, norman likely wont impress him much.
ou being last does concern me somewhat, but i'm willing to bet that if osu is still his leader after his psu visit, then he is likely to be a buckeye. |
