Guess Pete's not the only "sleazy" one.

Two very different reasons for silent verbals.
1. To allow a player to enjoy taking 5 official visits.
2. To give a player the false impression that he will have fewer recruits in the same class and position to compete against.

comments about USC visit this weekend
Quote:

Walker Ashley comments on game "USC blew em out. They played really good on defense and I thought the d-line played great. Coach Orgeron is really a coach who can get them going. I got in on my trip last night and Chilo Rachal was my host, tonight after the game Dominique Byrd will be my host and he's from my home state. It's been a great trip, USC is definitely my top choice by far."

Walker says he is "probably going to be a Trojan and it is probably going to happen pretty soon."

He said before he went to USC this past weekend it was a tossup between tOSU and USC. But now USC is the clear leader. It sounds like if he gets the ok from his parents, he will be a Trojan. But his mom might be a tough hurdle, she wants him to stay closer to home. He still says he will visit tOSU and others.

For God's sake, what a superficial guy this one is. A three game losing streak effects your choice? Weather?
Whatever.

Wish he was visiting us in November instead of December

I think the three game losing streak has an effect because most likely USC or some other school is using it against us. Eden Prairie always wins so another school may be telling Walker if he goes here he wont be wining games or the TOSU coaches wont help him get to the next level. I think if we finish the year strong and he has a good visit here we may have a chance. But Walker may have already know he wanted to go to USC so he could be using TOSU's struggles as his excuse for not coming here.
