From what I know of Tebow I have to believe any offer is simply waiting on an indication he would accept it. You throw letters in front of everyone in the elite 11 and you quickly lose credibility with anyone else you might otherwise have had a shot at. |

Apparently we are Isiah's dream school... and from what I hear of him, he could be a great one here at Ohio State.

How many QB's do you see us offering? With two already out there, would the Bucks really send out that many more?

Ohio State has offered the following QB's: Isiah Williams (very possible), Demetrius Jones, also from Illinois (highly unlikely), and (apparently) Harry Betsey, from Florida (also unlikely); the Bucks have also shown serious interest in Tim Tebow, who is one of the top QB's in the nation, but they haven't offered him yet (of course, he would also be a long shot). The Bucks might offer another QB, if one really shines at camp; the most likely candidates are Weber, Nelson, and Hartline.

Oh, I didn't know about Betsey.
Anyways, I really like what I've seen of this Williams kid. He's cut, fast, strong, and has a cannon attached to his shoulder. Also, from what I understand of Jones, Tebow, and Hartline, all of these kids are extremely athletic QB's who can run. I love that in a college QB. |

Last year Williams ran a 12.42 100m coming in 5th in the finals. |

5/13/05 Williams has received offers from Wisconsin and North Carolina this past week. He says he is pretty open but admits that Iowa, Purdue, Ohio State and Northern Illinois are looking good to him right now. Isiah now has offers from North Carolina, Wisconsin, Oregon, Ohio State, Boston College, Akron, Ball State, Northern Illinois, Illinois, Purdue, Toledo, Eastern Michigan, Iowa, Kansas and Indiana. |

What I don't get is:
If you have offers from teams like Northern Illinois and Eastern Michigan, would you even take a second look after seeing Wisconsin, OSU, tOSU, Iowa, and even Kansas maybe? I mean, if you're looking to play football in the NFL, why would you go to a super low-profile school when you know you have a huge chance to get to the NFL at a bigtime school like the ones mentioned above? I guess this goes for any recruit, but his mention of Northern Illinois as a favorite next to tOSU just confounded me. |
