Terrific measurables for a Tressel type CB. It would be great to get another CB out of Texas (Youboty).

Having received offers from Texas and Miami (Fl), you'd think that we'd be soon to follow suit with our desire for two top corners in this class. I believe that R.Small will eventually be a Buck and he might fill one of those slots...though he might be a playmaker on offense. If Small does come aboard and play solely O, then you have to think that we still need two solid CB prospects. Not CB/S, or CB/ATH...but two quality corner kids with hips. I like Brown's size and his speed is tremendous(a 4.35?). I'll give the staff a month or less before they offer this kid.

His original top5 makes it seem like he wants to get out of dodge.

Let's have Ashton have a little talk with him and tell him how nice it is up in C-Town...

The North Shore Mustangs are 49-3 over the last 4 years - 5A Division 1 State Champions in 2003.
Per 5atexasfootball.com: “The North Shore secondary is very deep and will be led by Chykie Brown (6'0 170) and Eric Harrison (5'9 165). Brown is one of the top DB prospects in the state and both he and Harrison are likely to earn 1st team All-District honors.” <O </O

The site also has North Shore ranked #12 in the preseason. Here's the site's pre-season position rankings and pre-season All-State 2nd Team List:
