 Virginia Beach (VA) Landstown Height: 6-foot-0 Weight: 192 pounds 40-yard dash: 4.51 seconds Bench max: 250 pounds Squat max: 400 pounds Vertical leap: 36 inches Damon is overshadowed by teammate Percy Harvin, but has amassed over 20 offers on his own from schools such as Tennessee, Oklahoma, Florida State, Virginia, Virginia Tech, Michigan, LSU, Miami, Illinois, tOSU, and Florida. He and Harvin are considering going to school as a package deal. According to the Rivals100, Damon was one of the players who received major consideration before being cut from the list. However, it is noted that he could be on the list pending his camp and season performances. Rivals $ 6/7 Damon likes UVA, VT, LSU, Florida, Miami, Oklahoma, Illinois and Ohio State. Damon's head coach does not see he and Percy Harvin going to college together.

I'm with you BGriff...espcially if he and Percy aren't going to the same school, since we have no shot at him. I would glady take this kid now and find a position for him later...

This kid looks like he might just be something special. But his picture looks like he is practicing for his mug shot for the campus police.

One thing that really ticks me off, though. Apparently Isiah Williams called him and the 2 hit it off real well, which is why the Illini are in there.

Landstown He's just down the road from me. I'll have to go to see him play this fall. I'll wear my Buckeye gear. Maybe I can get his attention.  This area (Hampton Roads) is a hotbed for VaTech and U of V recruiting.

6/28/05 From Rivals100.com...Damon will visit Florida on 9/16 with teammate Percy Harvin. Damon's favorites are currently Oklahoma, LSU and Florida, but is also being pursued by Florida State, Miami (FL), Ohio State, Virginia and Virginia Tech.

7/17 Damon has scheduled visits to LSU and Florida while also planning trips to Miami and Oklahoma. He is undecided on his final visit.

7/27/05 From the Virginia Tech site...Damon and teammate Percy Harvin are setting up visits. Damon is visiting Oklahoma on 9/2, Florida on 9/16, LSU on 9/23 and Virginia Tech on 12/9. His last visit will either be to Miami, Florida State or Ohio State. We sound like the longest of longshots at this point...just enough to keep the thread open.
