Jones Declares Race Wide Open
By Phil Kornblut
In the spring, LB A.J. Jones (6-2 195) of Tampa had a list of five favorites which included USC. But now, Jones says there are no favorites and all the schools which have offered, and there are 20 of them, are in the picture. "I don't have a favorite, they are all even," Jones said. His offers are USC, Clemson, Florida, LSU, Oklahoma, Southern Cal, Florida State, Auburn, Alabama, Tennessee, Maryland, Michigan, Texas, Mississippi State, Ohio State, Georgia Tech, Nebraska, Louisville, Illinois, Kansas and Rutgers. Jones has camped at Florida and Alabama and will also camp at Rutgers later this summer.

AJ names his favorites as LSU, Florida, USC, Alabama, Auburn, and Ohio State. He does not have a leader and will take all five visits before deciding.

AJ says his top 5 consists of Alabama, LSU, Florida, USC, and Auburn, but Ohio State, Tennessee, Georgia Tech, Illinois, and Rutgers are right there as well. He knows he will visit USC for sure but the other officials are undecided.

This guy is a stud. I think he would do very well in Columbus. He is only about 6-0 and 205 pounds, but he gets to the ball as quick as anyone. Offers from Florida, Tennesee, Southern Cal and OSU show how highly thought of he is.
