By Duane Long...Taylor favors Ohio State, followed by Minnesota and Michigan State. Pitt and WVU are also recruiting him. Most schools are looking at him as a corner. Scout lists an offer from Akron.
I know this kid is a longshot for an offer, but you have to like corners who are 6-2 195 and can run a 4.25.

a kid this big, and this fast can surely be used as a receiver or db!
4.25 is amazing for 6'2" 195
you can teach kids how to play but its hard to teach speed!!

Those 5 blocked kicks tell me he could be a force on special teams...

with that size and speed he's definitely an intriguing prospect. i'm betting that he's more of an athlete than a football player at this point, which may explain the lack of attention surrounding his recruitment.

while his 40 time is blazing, his shuttle time is not quite as impressive...which leads me to believe that he is more of an athlete at this point and is learning to be a football player. this is the kind of kid who you could see the staff taking a late flyer on considering he could play DB or WR, has size, and incredible speed.

Good call Wes.
From what I was told, Taylor is a straight-ahead burner with difficulty moving laterally and coming out of cuts.
Also heard a murmur about not caring for contact that much.
