For some reason that 4.8 40 isn't getting me too excited about this prospect.

The 2 bench reps are a little concerning as well...although a 4.25 shuttle time isn't bad at all.
Tamarcus has also said that if Miami offers, he would commit on the spot. After running the 4.8 at the Miami Nike camp he said that he was surprised because he normally runs in the 4.5 range. Jeremy Patterson also stated that Tamarcus dominated the one-on-one drills at the camp. He played at Royal Palm Beach Community High School last year but is tranferring to Pahokee.

According to his Scout Profile, he also ran a 4.82 at the Tampa Combine.
Not sure I am buying this one...

He went from "reporting" 12 offers in june up to 24 in july. Maybe it's legit, but there are a lot of faster kids out there who aren't getting offers that quickly.
One review of him says that he often doesn't look impressive at all, but when he's in the zone he's impressive. Hmm... considering the elite level of WR recruits at OSU I seriously doubt he has an offer.

After watching his films, I have to question his level of competition also. The 4.8 looks about right...although he is extremely shifty and seems to be a ballhawk.
I could be wrong, but I don't see this as a legit offer.
