Could mean that the staff has other intentions with either he or AJ Wallace. Or it could just mean that they are trying to get all the good ones that they can, since the Big 10 and our non-conf. schedule over the next several years are starting to gear towards passing offenses.

With Everett graduating, the possibility of Youboty leaving after this year, and seeing how bad B.Underwood has played thus far in limited action, I'd say yes. I'm confident in Jenkins and Amos, but beyond that, we need help. We haven't had depth at CB in a looooong time (for example, Fox and Gamble being forced to play CB rather than positions they would have been better suited playing, like safety or wide receiver).

We need at least one more CB in this class to complement Coleman (who I would like to see at S in the end), and I'd say it would be between Wallace, Hill, Thomas ( FL athlete), and Adams(purdue verbal) for that final spot. I'd take 2 of Wallace, Hill, and Thomas if I could!!

I think you take all three, here is why, Thomas has a good chance to become a wide reciever, Coleman could be one hell of a safety, and Wallace and Hill could be great cover corners. Keep in mind you always need the Nickel back. So we could take Coleman, Wallace, Hill(low chance), and Schwartz and have one hell of a secondary class.

You can never have too much speed.

Oh, I would LOVE to take all three of those guys! I'm just trying to remain realistic about our chances and say we get one of those 3 (with Wallace being the most likely). The great part is that those 3 (plus Coleman and Schwartz) all play at least 2 positions on their high school team, and are ALL athletes- perfect Tressel types.. I will remain optimistic with Hill until I hear otherwise, but I know we're still considered somewhat of a longshot for his services. Totally agree with ya CB40.

You already have Coleman, and I think you go after Wallace, Small, and Hill and take the first 2. Thomas and Small could definitely go both ways though.

I agree. If we are realistic we would be lucky to get either Wallace or Hill. We are in good position with a good visit but I think the Florida schools always have the advantage in most cases. Not to hijac the thread but I think Thomas would be a great physical corner opposed to WR. He can really bring the wood on D. But Hill is a great prospect and hopefully we can end our drought with closing on OOS prospects with him and Thomas.
