Troutman took an unofficial visit to Happy Valley last Saturday to watch the OSU-PSU game. He plans on taking official visits to Penn State (December), Ohio State, Virginia, Maryland, and Boston College.
Johnny tore his ACL recently, and is done for the remainder of the season.

Johnnie's top 5 is Ohio State, Penn State, Maryland, Virginia and Boston College. He has offers from all of them. He will take all his visits before deciding, probably close to Signing Day.

Johnnie's top 5 remains the same, tOSU, Maryland, Penn St., Boston College, and Virginia. Visited Maryland officially this past week for the VA Tech game and said it was "alright". Troutman will trip to Penn St. in December. Says he likes tOSU's tradition of winning and that they are always in the hunt for a national championship.

I think if he ends up here is for sure a DT. Coming in at 290 and having no other DT recruits other than Larrimore, I would tend to think that is what we are recruiting him as.
