What impact will the 2006 Fiesta Bowl have on recruiting?

I dont know if somebody started this thread and merge it if there is another similar one.

Im still wondering how much this game will help tOSU recruiting? I wonder how much this weill change the minds of HS seniors on the fence about where to go. ND does appear to have a very stong recruiting class and i wonder if this will help tOSU in the battle for Ohio's best.

It certainly can't hurt. I would think that we were always attractive to defensive players. However, this may really dress us up and dance us around for some offensive guys too!

there seemed to be a lot of battles brewing with ND for 07 players. I don't know how much this will help in 06, but it is priceless in terms of establishing who the true king of the midwest is.

Even in '08 and '09... those kids have even less of an idea where they would go... and it makes a deep impact.

Of course, If I were a DB who could run and only wanted early PT, I know Where I'd go.

Who knows what the impact of this game will have on recruiting? I thought that the 2002 Fiesta Bowl win would really help recruiting that year; however, (in my opinion) the 2003 class was just average. It only had 15 players and so far only Whitner, Patterson, Gonzalez, and Youboty have seen significant playing time. Although Boeckman and Frost could be future stars.
