We need DTs
Is anyone else worried that our most glaring deficiency is DT?
You can convert a lot of other positions...but IMO you can only convert DEs if you don't have true DTs... and DTs get hurt because of the pounding... so I'd like a whole array of DT beasts on my roster to chose from
Larimore helps.. but he still needs beefed up..

I hear ya, but I think we are in pretty decent shape. Hopefully Denlinger and Abdallah are able to contribute the next couple of years. OSU is in on Larimore and Troutman this year, and next year they will evaluate a lot of in-state DTs, including Joey D'Andrea, Cameron Wade and Daryle Ballew, and players like Dewawn Whitner and Shantel Rowell in the 2008 class. Plus there are plenty of OOS DTs that will be looking at OSU in '07.

Well we have Abdallah, Cotton, Patterson(if need be), Larimore, Penton, Garnier, Delinger, and any DEs that move to DT. I would definantly like to see the staff start to take more true DTs, but you cant argue with what they are doing...

I'm hoping like heck too... cuz after those two... the cupboard only has Pitcock, Penton and Cotton... an injury or academic casualty and we're sweatin' bullets .. we couldn't even switch to a 3-4 because I don't see a monster noseguard in that group

Heres the thread on him:
DL Juan Garnier - transfer to 'Bama (official thread)
