Very few prospects are locks this early in the recruiting year. He mentioned he liked OU last summer, but a lot can happen in 13 months.

This guy is a flat out stud. Coaches mentioned that he was the best DB -- as a sophomore last summer -- in camp at both the Miami and Oklahoma camps, where they usually have some of the best athletes in the nation. I don't have the link handy, but he was supposedly matched up against the top WR's in last year's class as well as the seniors-to-be (this year's class) and pretty much shut them down.

Good one! Of course, he's still going to take all his visits and then postpone his decision -- to avoid in-state pressure -- as long as possible, to say, Signing Day 2006? Shortly after, Darnell Bing will be suspended by the team for "unspecified violations of team rules" thereby clearing up some playing time for Mr. Rolle for Fall 2006.

hopefully after he sees how good our defense is next year he will want to be a part of it...The way JamO could be an impact player as a Frosh should attract his attention

I don't know about anyone else, but think about what could be if we get this guy... In a year our secondary would look like this... CBs- Ginn and Jamario Safetys- Rolle and Welch

That is scary for opposing offenses and along with everything else= NC!!

Yeah, we could be pretty sick in the secondary.

the private school this kid attends is elite... since his family lives up in Soprano land of Jersey (about 2 hrs north of here) he must be a resident and the full tab is about $35K a year !!!! or as high as $48K a year if he's involved in one other academic pgm at Hun...

prep school has pretty good rep academically... like avg SATs well over 1200... only a dozen kids in a classroom... he must be pretty good in the classroom because if he was merely a jock, I'm sure his parents would have just sent him to Bergen Catholic or Don Bosco which are close to his home...and much less expensive...

Pretty good? Try a 4.0 GPA. Not too shabby.

and just FYI... many schools in Jersey don't give letter grades... you get the exact % you earned... and then they get averaged for our equivalent of a GPA... so our GPAs are 92% ... 84% ... etc... vs 4.0 ... 3.3

over simplified %'s roughly equates to letter grades thus...
70s - C's
80s - B's
90s - A's

not sure how Hun grades... letters or exact pcts... Rolle could have a 94% so to make it understandable.. they may list him as 4.0 GPA

Rivals Premium

From the Iowa site...Myron made an unofficial visit to Iowa City in July 2004. He is listed as 6-2 200 lbs. and carries a 4.0 GPA, which is obvious by how articulate he is. Myron says he currently has 37 offers and he expects that number to "augment" by Signing Day 2006. He watched the Iowa/LSU bowl game. He enjoyed the combine in San Antonio and felt that he dominated. The only guy to beat him was Rivals #1 junior Percy harvin when Myron slipped off his jam at the line.
