Kentucky's Hartline tears MCL, out indefinitely
Lexington, Ky. | Kentucky will have a new starter at quarterback this week when it travels to play Auburn (5-1, 2-1 Southeastern Conference). Coach Rich Brooks just doesn't know who it will be yet for the Wildcats (2-3, 0-3 SEC).
Brooks announced Monday that regular starter Mike Hartline suffered a complete tear of his medial collateral ligament during Saturday's loss to South Carolina. Brooks said the MCL will not require surgery, but Hartline will be out at least a few weeks and possibly the rest of the season.
