From the Nebraska site...Konrad has narrowed his list to six school. Three of them are USC, Nebraska and Notre Dame. No mention of who the other three schools are.

The SchoolSports Rivalry Tour presented by Old Spice rolled into California and Illinois this past weekend. In California, De La Salle (Concord) had high hopes of upsetting Mission Viejo, the No. 1 ranked team in the SchoolSports.com National Top 25. And for three quarters, the Spartans looked like they were on their way. But Mission Viejo rallied from a 26-22 fourth-quarter deficit with 14 unanswered points to win, 36-26, and retain its top spot in the national rankings.

De La Salle sophomore quarterback Mike MacGillivray spearheaded the Spartans’ late lead with a 10-yard touchdown pass to senior Vince Colvis and a 1-yard touchdown run.

But with the Spartans leading 23-16 in the third quarter, Mission Viejo senior cornerback Marcus North picked off a MacGillivray pass and returned it 46 yards for a score to cut the lead to 23-22 (Mission Viejo failed on the extra point attempt). De La Salle responded with a 27-yard field goal from Colvis to make it 26-22, but junior Keegan Gogerty and senior Chane Moline each ran for touchdowns in the fourth quarter to give Mission Viejo the win.

Moline, who’s rated the nation’s No. 94 overall recruit in the Class of 2006 by SchoolSports.com, ran for 176 yards and two touchdowns on 33 carries.

MISSION VIEJO – Welcome to the Toman Empire.

Mission Viejo senior quarterback R. J. Toman and the Diablos continued their brutish ways Friday night at Mission Viejo High, seizing a 40-8 South Coast League victory over Dana Hills.

Mission improved to 6-0; Dana Hills fell to 4-2.

It was the first South Coast League game for both teams.

Toman, who had the unenviable task of replacing everyone's All-American, quarterback Mark Sanchez (USC), this season threw for three touchdowns and ran for one more as Mission extended its winning streak to 42 in a row against teams from Orange County.

After a 68-yard return by Garrett Rubio on the opening kickoff, Toman ran 30 yards on the first play from scrimmage for a touchdown.

Toman (12 of 16 for 144 yards) connected on passes of 30, 7 and 12 yards for three touchdowns in the first half, and the Diablos entered halftime with a 34-0 lead.

His favorite target, senior receiver Sean Fitzgerald, had four catches for 76 yards, including touchdown receptions of 30 and 12 yards.

Senior running back Chane Moline (14 rushes for 88 yards) scored on touchdown runs of 2 and 4 yards.

Dana Hills quarterback Grant Schwartz (8 of 13 for 70 yards) left the game with about three minutes remaining in the fourth quarter with an undisclosed injury. He was replaced by junior Clayton Colaw, who played the remainder of the game. Colaw passed for 100 yards on 12 of 18 passing.

The Dolphins' lone touchdown came with 3:44 left in the game on Matthew Garcia's 1-yard run.
