Moline update: UCLA junior defense tackle Chase Moline has not played since Sept. 29 at Oregon State, and may never play again because of two bulging discs in his neck. However, he will not make that decision until spring practice.

Moline, who not play against BYU, said he will take part in spring practice before determining whether or not to end his football career.

"I have to see what goes on with spring ball and if I get no headaches when I hit," Moline said. "(The doctors) aren't clear on what is causing the headaches. It might be from the bulging discs, but they're not sure. Every time I make contact with a heavy hit, I get rung pretty bad."

That is truly sad... I followed this kid throughout his junior and senior years... and all signs pointed to a great kid that would have a great career... guess the disc issues are understandable due to his style... which is I AM A TANK...

For clarification, the bulging discs are for his brother, Chase, not to Chane, whom we recruited. but still sad, even if we had no connection with Chase. Never good to see a kid go through this. You have to feel for him.
