How he will handle this financially is a fair question.
The latest quote from Ginn Sr: "... he wont waste a year playing special teams. This way he won't have to redshirt and he still will have five years."
This is a kid who considered not going to college because he needed to support his family. Now he may take six years to get through college?
Please tell me he doesn't have a cell phone.

given Freddie's background there is a TON of financial aid that he can legitimately access....
that has already been researched...all bases have been covered...

if freddie doesn't qualify as a football player, how can he qualify as a nonplayer? are admission standards higher for athletes than nonathletes? wouldn't that be considered discriminatory?

athletes always have lower admission standards than "normal" applicants b/c the coaches are giving out the schollys, so as long as the athlete meets the bare minimum requirements to get in, he/she can accept a scholly. On the other hand, normal applicants might have above average scores and still be rejected. An interesting stat- Stanford rejects 50% of people that score a perfect 1600 applying there every year, which is pretty damn elite company. However, if you're a big time fball/bball recruit, a 1100 and you're guaranteed in. sorry for the digression- back to freddie.

Thanks Nevada, this is good to know.
Damn, these guys on Tressel's staff are good!! He's not just a helluva coach and a classy individual, but he and his staff have their "Football Ops" (operations) together.

Freddie won the 100 (10.74) 200, and was part of winning 4x200 and 4x400 teams at district track meet yesterday
Still no sign of Jamario....
