Here is my theory on how Ted Ginn Sr. likes his top recruits to handle the recruiting process. Wait until as late as possible to make a commitment in order to attract recruiters from all kinds of schools to come and see Glenville. The recruiters check out not only the top players but also the other kids who have the ability to play college ball and get college scholarships. If his top recruits commit early there are less recruiters on his campus and it is harder for the other players to get the exposure necessary to go on to college.
My guess is that Coach Ginn shares tape of other players while they might be there checking out Freddie, Donte, Ted Jr, etc. If Freddie is saying
OSU is his third choice then his top two can come and make visits and maybe discover some other players.
When it is all said and done I think Coach Ginn has the players evaluate what school is best for them and if they can play in state and give back to their community (state) then why go anywhere else.
Finally, congrats to Freddie for busting your hump on the field and in the classroom.
