I dont see how lenix and ringer dunnot receive offers before some of these other guys like russel and rowell. They are both gonna be huge talents and if we don't offer they will likely end up in the big ten.... I know that supposably they still have grade issues but other teams are taking chances and I think they will get em up... Both are pure bucks..

86/ Nutty ???
Why not keep this thread focused on Freddie Lenix?
* Has he become fully qualified 86/Nutty???? * Whats the best postion for Feddie ... Saftey, LB or even RB?? |

Freddie does not have alot of experience playing Safety and he is sure to get bigger- I would tend to agree with Duane on this one. RB could be an interesting choice but he is such a playmaker on defense- you hate to move him to offense. The kid is just a great football player- I hope we offer and he becomes a Buckeye. The interesting question is what they see in Elijah Hodge over Lenix? They both appear to be about the same size. Hope that helps. Quick blurb from the PD this morning Quote:

Lenix had another pick tonite that set up a touchdown. For someone that supposedly doesn't have much safety experience, he seems to pick off a lot of passes. He's all over the place.
If he is qualified and OSU doesn't offer, we will kick ourselves down the road. Him and Ringer need offers if their academics are in order. |

If he retook his SAT's back in October, then OSU should know his results by now I'd think. I sure hope he qualifies and that OSU offers him soon, as you stated CleveBucks.
He'd make a great athlete at any postion OLB/S/RB in my book. |

Freddie will get an offer soon ...
He is one heck of player. |

Agreed. Especially with the team mentality that Tressel employs in every aspect of his coaching, what excuse would he have not to recruit a very exciting player who also came from Glenville? Maybe Tressel and the players can't say Glenville during recordings, but that school is definitely gonna get a lot of national attention over the next few years with Ginn being from there and so many other OSU stars also going to school there (Smith, Whitner, ONeal, Lenix).
