![]() Akeem Hebron Outside linebacker / Safety Gaithersburg (Maryland) Good Counsel Height: 6-foot-2 Weight: 190 pounds 40-yard dash: 4.45 seconds Vertical leap: 33 inches 2004 stats: 110 tackles, 11 sacks, 2 INT's GPA: 2.80 Akeem is the Rivals #3 prospect in the state of Maryland for the class of 2006. As a junior, Akeem was a consensus all-state selection at linebacker, and was runner-up for Maryland's defensive player of the year honors (to 2006 Buckeye prospect LB Navorro Bowman). He has interest in Maryland (offered), Ohio State, Penn State, Syracuse (offered), Virginia, and Marshall; no leader at this point, although Maryland will probably be tough to beat. 3/6/05 Another article by the same guy as above, only in this article, Akeem mentions that one of his goals this year is to be selected for the Army AA game. Last year, Akeem had 110 tackles, 11 sacks, and 2 interceptions and was named first-team All-State, All-Metro, and All-Conference. |
