it is definitely possible, although I can't help but think of Brandon Harrison when I think of Jovani. Maybe Coach Haynes might be more willing to give an offer to a corner who is 5-8... |

Yeah but I think Harrison could of got an offer if he would of went to camp and proved that he deserved one,like Chappel is willing to do and wants to do it. Hopefully he can grow two inches.(I did b4 my senior year) |

god point about Harrison...he felt like he had already done enough to warrant an offer before deciding not to attend camp. |

agreed. think chauncy incarnato. osu needed ol in the worst way, and he refused to camp at osu, and was never offered as a result. harrison was n the same boat. if he could have proven that he could hang with hartline, amos and the other wr at camp, he would have been offered.
if chappal shows he can hang with some of the wr at camp this year, he'll get his offer. |

Chappel attended the adidas camp at Tenn. He may have been the most impressive athlete at the combine. He benched 185lbs, 19 times and has a 34 inch vert. He did not run. He grew up a fan of Ohio State and Tennessee. He will graduate early and notes that it has worked out well for Ohio kids like Donte Whitner....

Did they have any measurements on him? I hope he grows a few more inches because I do not think that OSU will offer him if he has not. |

If he's as good as advertised, they might. Remember Winfield? He's still in the pros and he's 5'8".
