"I wanted to be a Badger since my 10th grade year, because Lee Evans and Chris Chambers, they're Ohio receivers," Jones said of two former UW receivers now in the NFL. "I was the No. 1 Ohio receiver, they were, too. I wanted to keep that tradition going."
I don't recall Daven being the #1 rated Ohio receiver in 2005 -- he was honorable mention for his division on the All-Ohio squad behind the likes of Ray Small, Joe Morgan and Robby Parris. 2005 All-Ohio Football |

Thanks 86 for posting that link! What an inspiring account of perseverance and faith on the part of a young man. It really makes me want to cheer for him in his career, whether or not he contributes at the college level. Great research and writing with impressive acclaim for guidance from Coach Ginn and other coaches at Glenville to shape this young man into a student athelete. Truly a good news story, well worth the read!
