UConn is doing pretty well in recruiting for only it's 3rd year or so in 1-A. They are in a good spot geographically for Rennsylvania and New Jersey kids, plus they have the name recognition/respect from the hoops team. I don't think they will be as good as the hoops team, but a few more years and they could easily be on the level of Boston College.

6/27/05 From the Georgia site...Jeremiha is up to 30+ offers. He is most interested in Florida, Tennessee, Georgia, Penn State, Iowa, Ohio State, Notre Dame and Michigan. Most school are recruiting him as a linebacker. He is not worried about distance and is looking for the school where he feels most comfortable. |

6/30/05 From BSB...Hunter is still recovering from surgery on his broken arm. He is looking at Iowa, Michigan, Ohio State, Penn State, Notre Dame, Florida, Georgia and Tennessee. He plans to take all his visits. I think we have an excellent shot at Hunter...provided he makes a full recovery from his off-season surgery... |

Sounds good
It looks promising that he wants to take his visits which should result in a later decision. Does any one know if him and Gibson are projected to play the same LB spot? IF he waits and does not choose OSU then they could still go with Edds, Becker or hopefully an instate LB comes up big his senior year and gets an offer kinda of like Spittler. Homan, Gibson and Hunter would be nice but there should be some other options available as the season goes on. GO BUCKS!!
