2/8/06 From the Michigan site...Dante is planning to visit Michigan. He is still being recruited by OSU, but does not have an offer. He is also looking at Kentucky, Xavier, Dayton, Miami (OH), Pitt and Penn State.

For those who weren't aware, Dante finished 4th in the State in the 110 hurdles with a time of 14.61, so I would expect his 40 to be respectable.

I'm sure his 40 time is more than respectable. The dude is flat out fast. As you noted, he plaed in the 110m hurdles at state. He also placed 3rd in the 300m hurdles at state with a time of 38.57.

2/15/06 OhioPreps...........Xavier, Dayton, Michigan and Miami (OH) have offered. Jackson is not considering playing football in college. Bob Huggins has been to a game recently and Kentucky, North Carolina and Pittsburgh have made contact. Jackson is averaging 29.1 points, 11 rebounds and 7 assists per game.

To expand on the update........

Dante put up 37 in a dominant performance over Chillicothe in the D2 Sectional Finals.
He had a rough first half, but took control of a good Cavs team in the second half to pull off a 12 point win.

2/27/06 Jackson recently visited Kentucky and has been told they will be scouting his playoff game. Michigan, Xavier and Dayton have also been in to see some recent games. UK, Michigan, Dayton, Xavier, Miami of Ohio and Pittsburgh are showing the most interest at this point. No mention of tOSU.

Any chance we are just waiting on the NCAA ruling to determine the scholly #s before offering? This kid seems like one that we need to try & keep in Ohio.
