Jackson is starting to receive some serious attention from major programs, I know that tOSU wants to see how Jackson performs this summer on the AAU circuit........

Jackson enjoyed his visit to Michigan this past weekend. Dayton, Xavier, Kentucky and Ohio State are still showing interest. Michigan has solidified their spot on his list. Jackson will run track this spring.

Michigan, Xavier, Dayton, Miami-Ohio, Illinois, Penn State and Kentucky are showing the most interest. Jackson's coach says that Bob Huggins is also interested in Dante. Jackson finished his junior year averaging 28.5 points per game, 8.5 rebounds, 5.0 assists. Possible decision could be made in the spring.

Does this statement seem absurd to anyone else? Kids are supposed to be directed to pick a school based on acedmics, how they fit in with the school, etc. They are specifically pursuaded not to pick a school based on a coach, because you never know what will happen with the coach. Obviously, there has to be chemistry between player & coach, but to try and recruit a kid before you have a job or know where you'll be coaching seems counter to the idea of "student athlete".

Jackson was impressed by the academics at Michigan. Xavier and Dayton have also offered. Ohio State, Kentucky, Illinois, Pittsburgh, and Purdue are schools he is interested in.
