OhioPreps staff writer Rodger Bohn recently had the chance to sit down and speak with top 100 sophomore Aaron Pogue of Dayton Dunbar at the Spiece Pump N Run. Pogue is a powerful post player who has remarkable agility for a player of his size. With his constant improvement, Aaron will be a major force once he hits the college hardwood. Aaron is looking at Cincinnati, Kentucky, Louisville, Ohio State, and Arizona at this point. He was asked what he likes about each school and he said he liked the coaching staff at OSU and plus Cook and mentioned some of the players considering OSU and he just simply said why break it up. Pouge says he has been offered by Cincinnati and Kentucky and he patterns his game after Sean May.

Cincinnati, Louisville, and Kentucky are recruiting him the most and those are the schools he likes at this point.

At the ABCD camp....Pouge has struggled so far during camp. Consistently being beaten by more athletic post players.

Pogue spent most of the summer playing with Spiece Indy Heat, which will only help him improve. By all accounts, he had a rocky summer tour but showed flashes of talent. The biggest knock on Aaron is that he needs to get into better shape.

Any word on this guy? Didn't seem to be much news on him out of AAU ball.
