From the Virginia site...Solomon is averaging nearly nine points, seven rebounds and three blocks per game. He is hearing the most from Virginia, Florida State, St. Joseph's and Ohio State.

It will be interesting to see if the staff continues to pursue Alibi with Lauderdale being a priority.

In a recent tournament, Alibi was a DNP due to a coaches decision. Alibi is still developing at this stage.

In the most recent of ESPN The Mag (their NEXT issue) Solomon is featured:
Quote:
Potential is no curse for this 16-year-old Nigerian. He wowed the 2004 Basketball Without Borders camp in Johannesburg, gained a spot at Orlando's Montverde Academy and is ranked 50th in the Class of 2007 by one recruiting guru. Yes, Alabai has been playing hoops for just two year, but his suitors - Florida State, Kentucky, Ohio State - don't mind. Did we mention he's 7'1"?
WHEN HE'LL POP: Scouts will be hyping Alabai as the next Tim Duncan by 2009.

Alibi is continuing to develop but is raw at this point. Alibi is getting interest from Florida State, Ohio State, St. Joseph's, Virginia and Wake Forest. Keep in mind that he is only playing in his first year of organized basketball in the U.S. He will attend the NIKE All-American camp this summer.
EDIT: added additional pics to profile........

Alright, I was scanning through the database of offers and realized that we are still in Alibi's top 4. I was just wondering if anybody has heard of any news lately. I mean obviously the thread hasn't been updated recently, but the need for bigmen is apparent. With Koufos's ability to hit the 3, I was thinking we could go with a pretty big lineup.
2007
Butler 6'2" SR - Conley 6'1" SO
Lighty 6'6" SO - Diebler 6'6" FR
Cook 6'5" SO - Koufos 7'1" FR
Hunter 6'9" SR - Lauderdale 6'9" FR - Bell 6'8" JR
Oden 7'1" SO - Terwilliger 6'8" SR - Alibi 7'1" FR
We could have plenty of different option here, going big and small
...and this is considering Oden/Cook stay. We could be scary good in 2007.

Obviously, updates have been inconsistent, but the staff is still involved with Alibi.
