![]() CES Combine results/info: Tucker checked in at 6-foot-1, 212-pounds, He registered a 4.99 40-yard dash, 4.58 shuttle, 29.5” vertical, 7.87 3-cone drill, 84” vertical. Tucker improved throughout the day as his confidence grew. Scouting Report: Its still way to early to project where Tucker where end up, it all depends on his growth over the next year. He has a nice frame, and long arms. He is a very instinctive young prospect. Tucker needs to develop more explosiveness, which will likely come with the maturation process. |

Rivals $
2/22 Tony's favorites are tOSU, Boston College, and Florida. Says he likes BC and tOSU the most because they have been recruiting him since his sophomore year. Last season Tucker registered 65 tackles, 17 for loss, 12 sacks and one interception. Tony's Rivals Profile Last edited by OSUBucks22; 02-21-2006 at 01:25 PM. |

Wow, I just watched film on this kid, and now I know why the staff has recruited him for so long. He just absolutely destroys the quarterback on some plays, and he loves throwing his body weight around. With that speed, I find it hard to believe that he is a high school kid weighing 235 lbs. He has blazing speed off of the edge, and to put it simply, when he gets to the ball-carrier, its game over.

Sounds like a clone of Walter Dublin. They are about the same size and speed and like Dublin, I imagine OSU is looking at Tucker to possibly fill the LEO (hybrid DE/OLB) spot at OSU.

Is he good enough if Dailey and Hines commit to get an offer then with last years LB class?

After watching this kids videos it is clear why we have been recruiting him.
On some of his plays he gets away with just pure size, but he shows great quickness off the line, much like Dublin, but he brings more pop when he hits. I would love for him to be a lb, but I looks like he will project to be a DE as that is where is film is. I have yet to see any good Hines film, but right now my lb list would look like Cooper/Tucker/Hines/Dailey/McNaul I think we will probably try and take 2 so we will see where the coaches want to go with the lb recruiting. |
