Ted Ginn Sr. knows a little something about wide receivers. He's the father of the game- breaking Ohio State receiver, Ted Ginn Jr., who is expected to be a first-round NFL draft pick after deciding to leave school following his junior year.
The elder Ginn also is the prep coach for Kyle Jefferson, a 6-foot-5 wide receiver from Glenville High School in Cleveland, who gave an oral commitment to the University of Wisconsin.
"He's going to be a guy that can stretch the field," Ginn Sr. said of Jefferson. "He's going to be the big-time, big Randy Moss-type receiver."

Just got back from a track meet at Oberlin and Glenville was there.
Kyle definitely stood out and was the first kid I noticed. He definitely looks like the 6'5" hes listed at, and is definitely blazing fast after watching him run the 200, and the 4 x 200.
EDIT: He is definitely a track star, he had some of the best form for a sprinter ive ever seen and is so lean.
I cant wait to see how it translates to the football field.

Lucas: Jefferson aiming to establish himself as a 'football and track' guy
Mike Lucas ? 8/20/2007 8:22 am
Quote:
After juggling the short pass, he sprinted untouched to the goal line. Such is his speed. "I owe a lot to track,'' confided Jefferson, who's planning on competing for Ed Nuttycombe 's perennial Big Ten track champions at Wisconsin. "There's no ball. It's just you alone -- running in a lane -- running as fast as you can to the finish line.''
Which is essentially how he handled recruiting, breaking it down to its simplest form. Ohio State got out of the blocks slowly, but Purdue, Iowa, Indiana, North Carolina and Boston College pursued Jefferson to the finish line. "And when I came here,'' he said of Madison, "I liked what I saw. And I asked, 'What do I really want to do?' The first thing that popped into my head was a 'W.'''
For winning? "For Wisconsin,'' he said.
Winning and Wisconsin? One and the same, Jefferson suggested, thanks in part to the contributions of some Ohio-bred receivers like Chris Chambers and Lee Evans. "It always gives you hope when you see players like that make it,'' said Jefferson, who was recruited by Henry Mason, who also landed Chambers and Evans. "Chris played at Glenville before transferring to Bedford, and my dad used to bowl with Lee's mom, so I kind of knew them that way.''
Embracing the Chambers-Evans legacy, it's Jefferson's hope that he can someday live up to those lofty expectations, once he gets his feet back on the ground and his head stops spinning. "My biggest challenge right now is staying focused and concentrating on one play at a time,'' Jefferson said. "Since the first week, everything is starting to slow down and now I feel like I'm catching up.'' Just a little bit. Make that a lot bit.
