I like Smith, he has the tools to be a good one, but I think the staff is focusing on Belton at this point....

I don't think we can go wrong either way, but Belton does seem to be more of the mold of pocket-passers that we have been after.

I have seen him play this year, he is a Troy Smith clone. They play the same style at the QB position and I came away very impressed with his arm, accuracy and feet. He is a little taller than Troy but a half a step slower too. They are built the same and both have cannons. I would say after camp he may very well get an offer if JT is going to continue running the offense we are running right now because he could step in and run the system we are using, he has the same type of skills that TS has and shows alot of moxy.

True, but we have Boeckman and Robby already in that mold. The new offense we seem to be running is made for a mobile QB. Now, if that is just because it fits Troy better, I don't know... but right now that seems to be the direction we are going. I like Chris to be our QB recruit next year.
