Heard he plans on announcing Thursday at 1pm his choice. Without an Ohio State offer it seems like he is going elsewhere.
*Crossing fingers hoping he stays close to home and goes to Ohio University*

Anyway, I read if you're related to somebody who has played at Ohio State, they will put you on their practice squad. But that doesn't mean you'll dress for the games though. When I go to Ohio State to major in Sports Journalism, this is what I am going to do. I won't stop there, because I will try to dress and make the team.

I predict we will be facing him in 4-5 years at Iowa - ABC will have quite a storyline at the beginning of the game -"he grew up a Buckeye fan and wanted to play for them all of his life...but the Buckeyes never offered..." which will be forgotten by the 2nd quarter with the Bucks up 27-3.
Good Luck to Chris (except against )

TRESSEL: Not by Saturday. So, I don't know, I don't give it any thought.

Chris looked solid in videos and from everything I had heard. Too bad he was this year or I am sure the staff would have been all over him. Good luck to him.

Marshall lands QB from South Point, Ohio
Chris Smith, who enters his third season as starting quarterback at South Point (Ohio) this fall, has given a verbal commitment to attend Marshall.
The 6-foot-3, 215-pound Smith earned second-team All-Ohio Division IV honors last season after passing for more than 1,500 yards and 15 touchdowns and running for nearly 700 yards and six scores. He also carries a 3.2 grade-point average.
Smith is scheduled to announce his decision today at a news conference at South Point High School.
Marshall and West Virginia were the two schools that had offered a scholarship to Smith.
