There is not one Florida fan or source who feels that way except for that random guy on the free Florida board. Deonte is a big Florida fan and we just happen to lose 3 starting WR next year.

Well as of right now there is just a bunch of speculation, he has layed out his favorites, and this is going to be a long battle, so no need to worry about it this much now.

We all know the reasons, why he likes us, so lets hope Dukes and Holmes can put in a good word.

It sounds like McDaniel and Williams are not going to be Gators which means we will only be bringing in 3 WR recruits this year. Since we are losing 3 starting WR next year, our chances of landing Thompson have improved imo.

He is also rated as a 5-star prospect according to Scout and checks in at #5 in Rivals pre-season top 10.

C'mon man, we have no shot at Thompson! According to UF's "Awesome Recruiting" board, Thompson, along with every other major prospect, is a Gator LOCK. Might as well close this one down...

Here is a link to his video. He is an absolute stud. That is all you can say. He is blazing fast, strong, runs good routes, and has some very good routes.

I am still picking my jaw up off the floor after watching this.

The video is pretty impressive, but 7 out of 5?! He didn't make a single leaping (wait...maybe one), diving, or otherwise difficult catch. He did show good strength in breaking some tackles, along with great speed and the ability to find the seems in the coverage. I'd say that was a 3.5-4.0 out of 5.

I like how the vid ends with him getting flagged for an unsportsmanlike dive into the end zone. I've seen another Belle Glade-Glades Central player get flagged like that, although his dives were legit (Good luck in the Pros SH!). Pretty impressive video though, I'd say 4.2 out of 5 on the WOW scale.

Wow tough grader I see. He has speed that you can't teach. I am talking up around Teddy's level. He also plays at Glades so you know that is good competition.

Also when you watch his film, he uses his body very well to shield off the defender, and make them have to come through him to get the ball.

I would say a 4 out of 5. Very impressive and I still think he is a sure fire 5 star guy and we really need to go after Thompson hard. Didn't like to see that flag at the end but maybe he has just been watching Santonio too much.
