Film...6 clips on defense, 9 clips on offense.

My take: Yet another Mike Doss clone on defense.

These are 15 guys that I would probably have ranked ahead of him, maybe he could move into the top 12 which isnt that much of a stretch, and it is basically splitting hairs, b/c they are all good.

But the thing that might hurt Gamble is that he is a db/s and right now Clifford, Torrence, Evege, Oliver, Mabin, Peake are all of ahead of him IMO.
First I have to say although all the players you have listed above are great players. No way is Oliver, Williams, Herron or Mabin better all around players than Brian Gamble! Gamble will lay the wood on offense and defense. He finishes off runs with bad intentions and as unfortunate as the hit in the Ignatius game was if the outcome wasn't so bad it was a big time highlight real hit that reflects his tough play. I have said this multiple times Gamble is not the best WR, or DB, or return guy, or RB but he is easily a top 10 FOOTBALL PLAYER in Ohio!

Like I said it is basically splitting hairs and it is just my opinion. I like Gamble as a player and if an offer came his way I would not object, I was just merely pointing out I think there are some better players out there and it is a tough year to be a db/s prospect b/c there are just so many of them out there.

Keep in mind that these thoughts have nothing to do with what kind of high school player he is, because Gamble is probably going to be a Mr. Ohio finalist, they are based on where I project them to be on the next level.

Also Gamble hasnt really got his name and his measurables out there because he hasnt attended any of the camps, so it is tough to get a read on him too, while Mabin has been lighting up camps he has attended.

I have not once once said that he is not a good football player. I like his film and have said so. As for the camps I was talking more about what they have shown in drills like one on ones and not just 40 times.

I understand everything you are talking about. I never said you didn't like Brian Gamble. Have you watched him play? I am not talking films. Films are real overrated. Mr. Ginn is a huge example of how a highlight real could give a false impression on production! Great player and very dangerous, but he is very unpolished as a player. The bottom line with Brain Gamble is his number one asset will not be seen in any camp. No DB in Ohio hits as hard as Brian Gamble! I am a diehard Buckeye fan and if he gets an offer great, if he doesn't hey some other stud got one instead. We have a difference in opinion here and that's fine. I have seen enough to know that if I were picking say Oliver committed already, Williams from McKinley who had great stats or Gamble to play this year on my team I am taking Gamble, and Oliver and Williams are studs!

Gamble has offers from Akron and Ball St. The tOSU staff has been in contact with him. He will decide after his senior season.
