I may be the source of the stupidest questions on the information super highway: Is there a story on the spelling of Kristofer? I've never seen the name spelled that way before.

We could could end up with blocking schemes that look like Viking invasions from ages past. Last edited by LordJeffBuck; 02-27-2006 at 01:39 PM. |

Rivals$
3/2 Video of Kris. My Take: Kris is nasty and shows a great initial punch in pass blocking. His overall quickness will need work, but all of the tools are there. Impressive prospect. |

His build and athleticism remind me a lot of Nick Mangold only a tad bigger and stronger. I really think this young man should be our number 2 or 3 recruit overall. I know thay it seems nuts to say that but as far as it goes we need quality O-Line BAD. Other than Oglesby we need Kris at OL.

USC Scout$
Just talks about USC's recruitment of him. Lists USC, Arizona, Arizona State, Michigan, Michigan State, Ohio State, Nevada, Texas Tech, Oregon State as schools of interest. |

Just being realistic, it will take a real hard pull from tOSU to get him to come east, especially with the major west coast schools in play. For now it sounds like the Buckeyes are in the mix, but IMO it will take extraordinary recruiting to close the deal. The geography will be tough to overcome.

From his updates he seems like a good and smart kid, hopefully he has a good senior year and picks a school that suits him best. |

You did a good job listing all the factors in tOSU's favor, scarletngrey77. I do think tOSU has a shot, I just think it will, in the end, be real tough to pull off. Most recruits say that distance isn't a factor early in the game, but in the end most recruits stay within their region.
