No, the most logical thing to do is go to TSUN. Between his HS coaches, parents, friends and advisors his getting a spoonful of michigan. Hence I think the only shot is at his heart.
Now you have me questioning myself. lol
Two other things in our favor. He's announcing on signing day. If a kid wants to go against the grain thats the day to announce. You can do what you want and theres no turning back. Secondly he's announcing at church. The backlash will be very small and private there if he chooses OSU. Most of the people there will be excited he's going to college period not where he's going. Still think he's a mich. lean. 70/30.

Hopefully it's because Tressel's a tad more spiritual than Carr...

Top corner ready to hit the road
AJC national top 25 prospect Ronald Johnson told Scout.com on Saturday he?s in no rush to choose between the five programs left on his list.
The Muskegon, Mich., cornerback recently returned from a trip to Southern Cal and has already been to Michigan, the Trojans? Rose Bowl opponent.
Johnson plans to check out Ohio State on Jan. 12, Florida on Jan. 19 and Michigan State sometime shortly after that.
?I?m going to announce on signing day,? he told Scout.com.
Signing day is Feb. 7, 2007.

That information is posted somewhere in this thread. I am too lazy to look it up. If I remember right, JT will have his in house during the middle of January. I could be thinking of someone else though. That's what sleep deprivation does to you... Good night y'all.

I wonder how much influence Carr's latest bowl debacle will have on Johnsons decision. There is starting to be a great deal of upheavel regarding his coaching abilities, mainly outside the state of Michigan. Does Johnson allow any of whats being said sway his decision? He'll end up an excellent college football player by all accounts either way he decides but can he become an excellent pro prospect under Lloyd Carr? Comparing Jim Tressel's track record with the NFL draft and Carr's that question should be a no brainer.
